Here are some simple but effective tips for maintaining your MUGUIE ceramic candle:
1. Trim the wick before each use: Before lighting your candle, make sure to trim the wick to a length of about 0.5 to 1 cm. This will ensure a clean burn and prevent the formation of black smoke.
2. Let the candle burn evenly: To avoid craters and extend the life of your candle, let it burn long enough during each use so that the surface of the wax is liquid all the way to the edge of the container.
3. Avoid drafts: Drafts can disrupt the candle's combustion, resulting in an uneven burn and excessive consumption of the wick. Place your candle in a location where it will not be exposed to drafts.
4. Extinguish the candle properly: Extinguish your candle by using a candle snuffer or by dipping the wick into the liquid wax using a metal rod. This prevents the formation of smoke and dripping wax.
5. Clean the ceramic container regularly: Once your candle is completely burned, you can clean the ceramic container with warm water and mild soap to remove any wax residue. You can then reuse the container as you wish, for example by planting a small plant in it or storing small objects in it.
